Episode 63 features new music from a young 4 piece band from Dublin called Lankum who are exploring traditional Irish music, much of it collected orally from Irish travellers. Also featured in this program is an interview with Singer Yasmin Levy who was born in Jerusalem and performs Ladino songs in its original language – a near extinct language dating back from the 15th Century. Yasmin is the daughter of Isaac Levy, who dedicated his life to rescuing forgotten Sephardic music , a mission Yasmin has inheirited.
