Episode 169 features an eclectic collection of trans global, folk roots, fusion and anything else that strikes a certain chord. It features a few of the artists coming to Womad 2020 including Senegalese Kora musican Seckou Keita, Blind Boys of Alabama, Trio Da Kali and Ambi Subramaniam, the son of Dr L Subramaniam who is regarded as the the Paganini of Indian Classical music’. Also included is a track from the Windy City Strugglers performing a song written and sung by Rick Bryant who passed away in December after a long illness.
