Episode 220 features an interview about the nine piece acoustic guitar ensemble, Gitbox Rebellion who are playing two shows during the Auckland Arts Festival line up for 2023. The interview is conducted with American born Auckland based virtuoso of all things stringed, Nigel Gavin and ensemble member Sonia Wilson. It’s an interesting interview about this highly original and creative band who have been reviewed as performing with a discipline and rapport that would be the envy of any classical chamber orchestra.
