One person has been seriously injured after a rope became tangled in a helicopter rotor in the King Country.
They have been flown to Waikato Hospital.
A police spokesperson said the helicopter was on the ground in Marokopa when the incident happened about 10am on Tuesday.
The Taranaki Rescue Helicopter, Fire and Emergency New Zealand and police responded to the incident.
