Police in Northland are investigating the death of a three-year-old in a driveway accident at the weekend.
Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Shane Pilmer, of Whangārei CIB, said police were called to an address in Te Kamo at 1.37pm on Sunday.
He said the three-year-old child had been injured in an incident involving a vehicle in a driveway and could not be revived.
Police are speaking to the family, as they investigate what happened.
