Motorists are being warned to slow down as police continue to roll out new high-tech speed cameras throughout the country.
The cameras are being installed in sites with the highest risk of speed related crashes as part of a $10 million project.
This week a new digital camera went live on West Coast Road, Auckland - the 11th to begin operation of a planned 56 cameras across the country.
Over the past decade, there have been 29 speed related crashes near the Auckland site.
