Spark has decided how much its broadband and landline charges will go up by, following a key decision by a consumer regulator.
The Commerce Commission on Tuesday raised the price telecommunications operator Chorus can charge for access to its network.
Spark says as a result the cost of broadband will rise by $5 a month, and an extra $3.50 will be added to customers' landline bills in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch every month.
The increases will take effect in February.
