Labour and the Greens are holding their first joint meeting with business groups today.
Labour leader Andrew Little and Greens co-leader James Shaw were holding a briefing organised by the Trans-Tasman Business Circle.
The event follows on from the two parties signing a Memorandum of Understanding, and Mr Little addressing the Green Party AGM earlier this month.
The two leaders will outline their respective parties' approach to the economy at today's meeting.
The event is being held under Chatham House rules and is closed to the media.
