Snakk Media says investors have applied for more than $7.5 million worth of shares in the company.
Snakk had hoped to get at least $2 million in new capital.
As a result of the demand, the company will scale back applications by 15%, accepting a total of $6.5 million, of which 600,000 is a private placement.
