Manufacturing activity continues to grow, having expanded for 22 consecutive months.
However, the BNZ-Business New Zealand's Performance of Manufacturing Index fell slightly by 0.4 points to 53.0 points in July from June.

All five indicators of manufacturing performance expanded in July, with the growth in new orders leading the way for the first time since March.
Business NZ's executive director for manufacturing, Catherine Beard, said it was a very positive result.
