Its net profit for the half-year to December fell by 4 percent to just over $23 million.

Total revenue rose by 3 percent despite a slight drop in the number of domestic and trans-Tasman passengers.

The airport said the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak was expected to keep reducing passenger movements in the short term.
