Fiji men's sevens captain Jerry Tuwai is in doubt for the Commonwealth Games after being struck down with the flu.
The 29 year old led the team to a fourth straight Hong Kong Sevens title on Sunday, where they beat Kenya in the final.
But he did not take part in yesterday's first training run on the Gold Coast.

Head coach Gareth Baber said his skipper was under the weather.
"We want to get him better. Obviously he's our captain but if needs be them we will make changes and the boys that are around that are ready to go if they need to.
"We've got 13 with us at the moment but there's one [or two] coming over over from Fij," Baber said.
Fiji are the form team on the men's World Series, having won three of the past four tournaments.
But the Olympic champions have never won gold at the Commonwealth Games.
Baber said team didn't feel any added pressure than what they were already accustomed to.
"Every game you play there's always an expectation that comes around it, be it a pool game in a HSBC tournament, a Commonwealth Games, an Olympic Games or a World Cup so these boys are quite used to having that scrutiny put upon them," he said.
"I'm not saying that it sometimes doesn't affect them, I mean they're natural, they're human beings and we talk our way through that as we get towards tournaments.
"The Commonwealth Games is no exception - we know what Fiji's here to deliver and that's what we're striving to make happen," Baber said.
The Fiji men face Sri Lanka, Uganda and Wales in pool play on Saturday, with only the top team advancing to the semi finals.
