The New Zealand triathlete Andrea Hewitt has just missed out on a medal on the opening day of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
The 32-year-old was in the lead group throughout but finished in fourth behind winner Jodie Stimpson of England.
Hewitt, who was sixth at the London 2012 Olympics, was 30 seconds behind the winner and 14 seconds off third.
Meanwhile Tim Dodds was the best-placed New Zealander in the men's race finishing 10th, while Ryan Sissons was 13th.
England's Olympic champion Alistair Brownlee won from his brother Jonathon.
