One of the biggest one-day regattas in the world has taken place on Auckland Harbour.
About 500 boats, from tall ships and classic yachts to vintage tugboats, are taking part in the annual Auckland Anniversary Day regatta on Monday.
Among them is oldest racing yacht in the world, the Jessie Logan, which first sailed in 1880.
For the first time this year, a temporary speed limit of 12 knots was imposed to keep speedboats under control.
