A man who fled from Auckland police has collided with another vehicle, injuring himself and the driver of the other car.
Police say they tried to stop the man, who is on a suspended licence, as he drove onto the Ellerslie-Panmure highway just after 6pm on Thursday.
The man has been taken to Auckland Hospital but his injuries are not life-threatening.
The female driver of the other car has minor injuries.
