Police say they have finished a post-mortem on a teenage girl killed in a Rotorua warehouse fire at the weekend.
A 17-year-old boy remains in Waikato Hospital in a critical condition with burns to his face, chest and arms after the fire on Riri Street in the suburb of Mangakakahi about 2.30am on Sunday.
Five other teenagers taken to hospital for treatment have since been discharged.
Police have completed examining the warehouse for evidence, but say its too early to tell whether the fire was deliberately lit.
They say three hours before the fire, a party was closed down at the same building. Officers are interviewing those who were there as part of the investigation.
