Maori designers are to make a strong showing in the Air New Zealand Fashion Week.
Waatea News reports eight designers from the first MiroModa Fashion Design Awards earlier this year will take part in a session at the main Auckland Viaduct venue on Thursday afternoon.
Ata Te Kanawa from MiraModa said it's a chance for Maori designers to show they can compete with the best in the country.
