The last of the 35,000 chemical toilets issued in Christchurch after the 2011 earthquakes has been removed.
Christchurch City Council contractors have taken away the last chemical toilet disposal tank from St Albans.
The toilets were distributed across the city to areas where sewerage pipes were broken.
Mayor Lianne Dalziel said it marks a milestone for the rebuild of Christchurch, as work towards the repair of all services and infrastructure continues.
