Three police search teams are scouring the Travers Saddle area of the Nelson Lakes National Park in search of a missing German tramper.

Police have named the missing man as Christian Ulf Erik Prehn, 19.
A helicopter and rescue dog are also being used in the search, which is centred on the area in which Mr Prehn's backpack was located.
Police say the weather in the area is good, although heavy rain is expected on Sunday night.
Mr Prehn has been in New Zealand since October on a one year tourist visa.
