Two people accused of fatally stabbing a man in a car can now be named as the victim's wife and her associate.
Davender Singh was found dead in his car in Papatoetoe on Thursday night. Police say they have located a weapon they believe was used on the 35-year-old.
Mr Singh's wife Amandeep Kaur, 31, and Gurjinder Singh, 25, appeared at the High Court in Auckland this morning where Justice Lang ended the suppression.
Both have pleaded not guilty to murder. They have been remanded in custody and will face a four-week trial in August next year.
A family spokesman said Davender Singh's body was returned to India on Sunday.
Daljit Singh said the 35-year-old had been a quiet man who had worked seven days a week at an upholstery business in South Auckland.
The local community had raised $10,000 to help Mr Singh's 10 year-old son, who lived in India.
The boy had not not been told the details of how his father died or that his mother had been accused of his murder, he said.
