Former All Blacks fullback Ken Going died on Thursday.
Going, 66, and his brothers Sid and Brian, delighted rugby crowds with their attacking rugby in the 1960s and 1970s.
His brother-in-law, Mana Forbes, says the Going family grew up with rugby in its veins and its backyard.
Waatea News reports Ken's down to earth ways also made him popular in his other career as a tour coach driver.
Ken played for the All Blacks in 1974, after 24 games for the Maori All Blacks. Sid Going was an All Blacks regular for more than a decade.
