A man is fighting for his life in Auckland Hospital after a hit-and-run incident in Henderson on Tuesday night.
Police say the man was critically injured when he was hit by a silver Subaru about 10.15pm on Henderson Valley Road near Henderson High School.
The car failed to stop. Police say it is probably damaged in the front and windscreen and are appealing for witnesses.
