New Zealand and Turkey have signed a reciprocal working holiday scheme, which will allow up to 100 young New Zealanders to spend 12 months living and working in Turkey.
Prime Minister John Key signed the agreement on Thursday in Turkey with his Turkish counterpart.
They also signed an Avoidance of Double Taxation Agreement and issued a joint declaration.
The declaration outlines how ties between New Zealand and Turkey can be broadened and strengthened.
Mr Key will go to the Gallipoli peninsula at the weekend where he will attend a number of commemoration services.
