A 64-year-old man has serious injuries after being crushed between a container and digger in the Kapiti Coast.
Emergency services were called to Otaihanga Road, near Paraparaumu, about 11.30am this morning.
A Wellington Free Ambulance spokeswoman said the man had been flown to Wellington Hospital.
Worksafe New Zealand said it was making enquiries to determine whether it would carry out an investigation.
