A Hawkes Bay woman charged over the death of her husband can now be named.
Susan Mouat appeared in the High Court in Wellington by video-link from Napier and pleaded not guilty to the manslaughter of Bruce Mouat.
Her name suppression lapsed at the hearing.
Mr Mouat died in July 2011, after falling down five concrete steps at his home and hitting his head on a concrete paver.
A coroner had earlier ruled there was no foul play involved in his death, but last month police laid the manslaughter charge against Ms Mouat.
Justice Simon France remanded her on bail until her trial, which will take place in September next year.
