A Ngaruawahia gang leader who claimed he had run Meth dealers out of town has pleaded not guilty to firearms charges and possessing an offensive weapon.
Allan James Pink, known as Jamie, faces three charges of possessing two pump action shotguns, an axe and a studded baseball bat.
He reappeared in the Hamilton District Court this morning.
He has asked for a trial by jury.
Mr Pink heads the Tribal Huks gang and became known after taking a hard-line against meth dealers in Ngaruawahia and claiming he had successfully driven them out of town.
Police said the firearms and weapons were found in his vehicle.
He will be back in court in March for a case review hearing.
