A motorcyclist who died in a crash with a car in Central Otago last Friday has been named by police.
He was 47-year-old Manfred Brand, from Switzerland.
The police said he was working in New Zealand.
The cause of the crash, near Cardrona, was being investigated.
A 24-year-old motorcyclist reported missing at Aorangi Mt Cook on 27 December has been found dead.
A motorcyclist was killed in Central Otago this morning bringing this year's toll - with six days to go - in line with last year's total.
