State Highways 2 and 58 in the Hutt Valley have re-opened following a fatal crash this morning.
A truck and car collided at the intersection of Haywards Hills Road and Western Hutt Road just before 10am which closed both highways.
Police have confirmed that one person has died after the crash, and they were now notifying the victim's family.
The roads reopened around midday and all lane closures have since been lifted.
