A bank robber who threatened staff with a firearm in Auckland is still on the loose.
A school was put in lockdown for a time after the man held up the ANZ Bank in Glenfield on the North Shore early yesterday afternoon.
He ran off with cash and reportedly asked a nearby resident to call a taxi for him, but continued running when police officers arrived.
Police have released CCTV footage of the robbery and are asking anyone who recognises the robber - who was in a white hoodie - to contact them.
They also want to speak to a woman who went into the bank ahead of him, saying she could help the investigation.
