A man has been charged with manslaughter following the death of a woman in Taupō yesterday morning.
She was hit by a vehicle on a property in Acacia Bay, and died in Waikato Hospital.
Police said further charges might be laid against the man once they finish their investigation.
The man has been remanded in custody and will reappear in the Rotorua District Court in two week's time.
Police were awaiting the results of a post mortem.
The victim's name has yet to be released.
