The police have charged a man after Work and Income staff were threated in Hamilton.
Police said officers were called to the WINZ Centre at Five Cross Roads shortly after 9am after a man entered the offices and threatened people.
Staff followed procedure, and shut the office.
The police found a 55-year-old local man nearby, and he is due to appear in the Hamilton District Court at a later date.
