Fire crews and 19 fire trucks have managed to contain a large fire at a chemical storage building in East Tamaki.
The fire was at the Waste Management Technical Services building.
The Fire Service said the fire had been burning in a 20 cubic metre polyurethane pit inside the building.
HZMAT teams were on site, with firefighters to be decontaminated.
