The police have found three women and a four-year-old girl they'd searched for overnight near Dunedin.

The group was found around 1am after they had been reported overdue from a walk in Silver Peaks yesterday afternoon.
The alarm was raised after the group failed to return from their walk in Silver Peaks.
The police used night vision on a helicopter and it helped searchers pick up the light from a cellphone screen.
Apart from being very cold, police said the quartet were unharmed.

Meanwhile, police are entering the seventh day of a search for two men in the central North Island say they are determined to bring them home to their whānau.
The men fled into the Kaimanawa Forest after a police pursuit last Saturday and called 111 the following day asking to be rescued.
Searches this week involving police, Landsar, the Defence Force, and police dive squad have found belongings, but no further sign of the two men.
More search and rescue volunteers are available to join the operation because it is the weekend.
Police said they had no plans to suspend the search and were grateful for all the help they had received, especially from members of local iwi Ngāti Tūwharetoa.
