New Zealand has won the rights to host the UCI BMX World Championships in Auckland in 2013.
The event will be staged at Vector Arena in Auckland in July, 2013.
A purpose-built track will be constructed using between 5000 and 6000 cubic metres of dirt.
New Zealander Sarah Walker is the current BMX double world champion.
