The police are treating the death of a 28-year-old woman in Hamilton as a homicide.
Aroha Kiwara was found dead at a property on Dominion Road in the suburb of Nawton on Sunday.
Following a scene examination and a post mortem the police have launched a murder investigation.
Detective Sergeant Andrew Saunders said the police would like to hear from anyone who was in the Dominion Road area between 10pm on Saturday, and 1.30pm on Sunday.
Anyone who has any information about what happened to Ms Kiwara is asked to contact police.
