Emergency services have been dealing with an ammonia leak at Tegel Foods in New Plymouth.
They were called just after 2am.

There were staff inside the factory at the time, but there were no reports of injuries.
Fire and Emergency said the leak had been isolated and contained.
Police said people in the area were told to stay inside and keep their windows closed.
