There will be further delays for Auckland commuters trying to get out of the CBD tonight and Britomart station might not be running fully until Saturday after yesterday's train derailment.

The front carriages of a commuter train derailed inside Britomart station yesterday morning, shutting down all services for the rest of the day.
Unlike yesterday's rush hour, some trains will be running out of Britomart this evening.
Eastern and Southern line services to and from the station will run every 20 minutes.
Those heading out west will need to transfer off Southern line trains at Newmarket or catch a bus.
Shuttle buses will once again be running between Britomart and Newmarket.
The station will close again at 9pm this evening to allow work to remove the derailed train.
UPDATE: Please note, from 9pm tonight until first service tomorrow there are changes to Southern and Eastern line services. More info here: https://t.co/UTFT6rUs5W pic.twitter.com/sPljHrNnNU

KiwiRail said it could not guarantee it would be able to right the train overnight, and some services may be out of action until Saturday morning as work could not be carried out during the day.
