A seven-car nose-to-tail crash that has partially blocked State Highway 1 on the Kāpiti Coast will take some time to clear, police warn.

The crash took place south of the Raumati on-ramp about 6am.
Nobody was injured in the crash but the southbound lane is partially blocked.
Police said it would take some time to clear the scene and motorists travelling to Wellington from the Kāpiti Coast have been told to expect delays this morning.
