A 60-year-old man has been hit by a quad bike while protesting outside a farm where 1080 poison operations were being conducted.

Police said they were notified of a crash on private farm near Harihari in Westland at 8AM.
The man received medical treatment for minor injuries to his foot.
A local 65-year-old Harihari resident is assisting police with their enquiries into the crash.
