Police have received a complaint related to a controversy at St Bede's College over a sexual assault case.
Christchurch man Peter Boock has demanded the school's rector step down for continuing to employ a teacher who admitted to abusing Mr Boock several decades ago.
The Education Council is also investigating the school's handling of Mr Boock's original complaint in 2011.
Police refused to say who the new complaint was from or who the subject of it was.
