The government is spending more than $7 million to finish the redevelopment of the Bay of Islands Hospital.

The Health Minister David Clark said a new building will give people better access to the range of services they need.
"This is an exciting development for the people of the Bay of Islands," he said.
"Having GPs and other primary care clinicians on site will mean locals can more easily get the most appropriate care and treatment."
Along with outpatient services, Ngāti Hine Health Trust doctors will provide primary health care from the new facility.
Mr Clark said the location of kidney treatment, which is currently in the old hospital, is being reviewed.
The new facility is the second and last phase of the redevelopment and will be built next to the Acute Medical Building that was opened this September.
Construction starts mid-2019 and the new building should be completed within a year.
