Two men will appear in the Hamilton District Court today following a robbery in the city last month.
The River Road Food Market was robbed on 30 November by two people armed with a screwdriver and knife.
Police said the owner of the shop was not hurt and the two people took cigarettes and cash before fleeing in a stolen vehicle.
Both men have been charged with aggravated robbery.
A 21-year-old man has also been charged with the unlawful taking of two vehicles, while a 20-year-old has been charged with unlawfully getting in to two vehicles.
