A woman is in hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed outside an Auckland Pizza Hut.

Police were called to the incident on Bairds Road in Ōtara at 9.30pm last night.
She was taken to Middlemore Hospital.
Police said it was not known how many offenders were involved.
More details are expected today.
