Police are investigating after a woman was knocked out by a punch to the head in Manukau over the weekend.

Video of the fight has been posted on social media.
The police were called after the fight broke out in the car park of the Westfield Manukau McDonalds in the early hours of Saturday morning.
A video of the exchange posted on Facebook shows a man punch a woman in the side of the head and the woman drop unconscious to the ground.
The woman was taken to Middlemore Hospital in a moderate condition, police said.
A local councillor, Alf Filipaina, said he was shocked viewing the footage but the community should know it's a safe place.
"I think more importantly is to tell people if they see something building up like this is just to separate the parties, simple as that, let them go on their way, instead of just watching."
He said the punch was a cowardly thing to do.
Police say they spoke with people at the scene and their inquiries are continuing.
