The two fishermen who went missing off rocks at Slope Point in Southland on Sunday afternoon have been named.

They are 23-year-old Shaun Orchard and 28-year-old Hendrix Kamo, both of Southland.
A marine search for the pair has been suspended but a land search continues daily in the wider Slope Point area.
Police said they would like to acknowledge the commitment and dedication of the volunteers and staff involved in the search.
