A man police say is connected to a group of 'unruly' British tourists appeared in the Christchurch District Court today.
James Doyle is among four people arrested in relation to a roofing scam.
He faces another charge of helping a member of the group to leave the country on another person's passport.
The 29-year-old was himself arrested on April the first at Christchurch Airport trying to leave New Zealand.
Today he was remanded in custody until 23 April when he is expected to enter a plea.
