Two people were rescued from a liferaft this morning after their yacht ran into trouble off Banks Peninsula.
Police say they got a call just after 9am about a boat seen stuck on rocks off Sleepy Bay.
A second call was received a short time later about an orange liferaft spotted off the coast, whose occupants had let off a flare.
Police said a rescue helicopter found the raft and winched two people to safety. Neither required medical attention.
