Auckland Transport is warning drivers to take extra care this morning with thick fog around.
Drivers should watch their following distances and allow extra time to travel, it said.
Yesterday, nearly 30 regional flights in and out of Auckland were cancelled and another 13 were delayed due to fog.

Meanwhile, Napier Port is turning away ships due to unusually strong sea swells in Hawke's Bay.
It expects to have to close all shipping berths until no earlier than midday on Saturday, it said.
MetService is warning of poor and possibly dangerous boating conditions in the area, with swells of up to 3.7 metres.
