A man is due to appear in court next week after crashing a car in Huntly overnight and firing a gun into the air.
The police arrested the 26-year-old after the incident on Great South Road, at about 2am today.
He has been charged with unlawfully carrying a firearm, discharging a firearm, and careless driving.
