A person has been flown to hospital after a car crash in South Auckland.

Police said a group of car enthusiasts group gathered in the Clevedon area overnight, and one car drove away and was found crashed around midnight.
Police say officers did not pursue the car.
One person was critically injured and airlifted to Middlemore Hospital and the other two occupants sustained minor injuries.
